Welcome to the The Photo Experience (TPE). Use of this website is governed by the Terms and Conditions. Please read our terms and conditions very carefully before using our website and services. The Photo Experience may update the Terms and Conditions at any time.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use The Photo Experience website or services.
Thephotoexperience.co.uk does not directly provide any photography services. The Photo Experience takes care of the post-production of the images and distribution of them.
Photography services are provided by hired photographers. Photographers are not employed by The Photo Experience. Thephotoexperience.co.uk acts solely as a platform that offers the best possible photographer in the requested area to best match the customer’s request. Photographers are carefully selected by our creative team.
Each photographer declares that they hold all permissions and authorisations necessary to provide photography services (if such permissions and authorisations are required by the applicable local law). Alternatively, the Photographer declares that they are legally allowed to provide photography services on occasional basis (not as a businessperson) if this is allowed by the applicable local law.
All services and prices described on this website are subject to change at any time without notice. Prices may vary dependent on selected locations.
The Client will pay the full price of the standard or custom package that was agreed during the booking process in advance. The booking is binding once TPE receive the full payment from the customer.
CANCELlATION & RESCHeduLE
We provide a flexible rescheduling policy. Not only can you reschedule for a later date, but photo shoots may be transferred to any other city, locally or abroad, with any available photographer.
- Photo Shoot booking can be cancelled up to Seven (7) days before the shoot date for a 100% refund.
- You may cancel up to four (4) days in advance of the date and time of the reservation for a 50% refund.
- The Photo Experience do not do refunds for cancellations 24 hours or less before the date and time of a scheduled photo shoot.
- For up to four (4) days of your shoot day and time, there will be no rescheduling fee. The fee for permitted changes, within 48 hours of your shoot date and time, is charged at €40. Please note that we cannot guarantee we will be able to make changes after your initial reservation is set. If we cannot, you will have the option to maintain the existing reservation or to cancel as set forth in sections (1) (2) and (3) above. Rescheduling includes any changes to date, time and location.
- Payment is not refundable because of bad weather however, we will try to rearrange (with no guarantee) an alternative day and time for the photo shoot. However, please consider the photo shoot in an alternative location or in the rain!
PHOTO COPYRIGHTS AND USAGE
- Your assigned Photographer and The Photo Experience retain copyright on all images.
- You have an exclusive license to use the photos for any purpose.
You must be least 16 years of age or older to book a photo shoot with TPE.
If you are less than 16 years, a parent or guardian must give written permission to book a shoot.
The link to the gallery will be sent to you via the email address that you provided, photos will ONLY be delivered by The Photo Experience, not the hired photographer.
TPE creative team makes the initial photograph selection and delivers these in a watermarked gallery to you, the client, no later than five (5) business days after photo shoot. (according to GMT time). You, the client, then choose your final selection of photographs.
After your final selection our editors will edit and deliver your selected photographs (watermark free) up to 14 working days after your selection was made.
RAW files are never delivered to the client.
You also have the option to purchase extra photographs.
The Photo Experience will email prices if extra photos are required.
Client to pay for any additional photos upon selection. Extra photos will be delivered up to 14 days after payment has been received.
The client is responsible for covering any additional fees and costs related to your location choice (for example, transportation, admission fees, tickets, permits to shoot on private property).
Please confirm this directly with the property or location. If you want your assigned photographer to participate in any activities, you will need to cover any applicable fees for them as well.
The Client is responsible for gaining permission to shoot at their location (hotel/villa/client location).
Photographers take full responsibility for gaining permission for any photo shoot at any Secret Location.
By booking the service you agree that you are familiar with the style of your chosen photographer and you agree to receive photos in such style and quality.
TPE have no control over extraordinary circumstances or weather conditions. Photo shoots can take place in any weather since our photographers are professionals and can suggest locations where it would be possible to shoot. Sometimes being flexible in these situations provides more creative and original images.
In case of any problems with the photo or video shoot or images please contact The Photo Experience immediately so we can handle your case as soon as possible. The Photo Experience
will always do our best to solve the issue.
COVID-19- ILLNESS AND SAFETY
It is both the photographer and client’s responsibility to check the local and national Covid-19 rules and comply with these at all times, for example wearing masks on public transport.
Chosen locations will only be permitted if they are safe and social distancing can be safely adhered to. This is for the safety of everyone.
The average distance between a photographer and a client during a shoot is 8 metres and a minimum two metres distance is always in place for every shoot. Photographers will monitor their own health before a photo shoot as well as check that their temperature is normal.
However, if a photographer is experiencing Covid-19 symptoms and can no longer participate in the shoot the customer is entitled to a full refund or The Photo Experience can try to find an alternative photographer. Please do not attend your photo shoot if you, or any members of your party, are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms.
